Does anyone else notice,
that the screen resolution on the iPhone 6, for the facebook app, is a little blury ?

when you watch the reception indicator, the clock, everything along the top... it's sharp...

as soon as you open fb, whilst still watching the top bar, it zooms in slightly, an looses its sharpness ?

isn't the update for fb, the ios 8, meant to optimise the resolution for the iPhone 6 ? ...

Nope, it's not optimized yet :( Same for FB messenger

an this is what i don't get ? ...
facebook announced their lastest update to apparently be "optimised for the new iPhone 6 and 6 plus resolutions"

...guess not ha

nice one !
thought i was imaging things

"We’re also making sure that Facebook looks great on the new iPhone screens. We’re creating assets for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ that take advantage of the new screen resolutions, making the experience bigger and clearer. We’re continuing to work to make sure all the features of our app work with the new OS. These updates will be available over the coming weeks[/B.]"

I hope those bar stewards will allow landscape mode on the app. I hate that the current version forces you to be in portrait.

I hate facebook anyways. i'm steering slowly away from it to twitter. ever since they changed the way we see the news feed on what "they" think we should see, it's gone to crap. news showing up from days ago on my news feed and making us go through steps to show everything in order, every time we log on. just dumb.

Yeah, I agree, I barely look at my timeline anymore. I just log on to message friends. I have my Twitter and FB linked so my friends can still see my posts, as most aren't on Twitter.

Of course, if Twitter has its way we'll have forced things in our timeline too.

This is the same for a lot of apps, over a week since the launch and still apps like Facebook, Instagram and lots of others just look like a zoomed in version bad resolution and just tacky looking. You'd think the devs would be on the ball...
