Facebook app takes forever to update status?

Ever since they updated to 3.0 version it took a while for the update status to go in. And now ever since the 3.1 version with push it's slower. Only when the app first came out was it the fastest at updating status. Ugh.

Yup, hate to whine about an app that's FREE but seriously, Facebook need to get their act together and make this thing work more smoothly and crash-free on the iPhone.

I think that's the facebook servers that are being slow today... But another problem i have is when i open the app and go to chat im always online no matter what even if i go offline... Open the app up again and im online...
I wanna use facebook without people knowing that i am online...

It was the same for me, but I deleted the app, shut my phone off, turned it back on and redownloaded it, and it has been great since!

its not cause of the server its been lke this for a lon time now

The fastest way to update your status in the AppStore is with the qStatus app. It's only a dollar and you can update both Facebook+Twitter with 1 message=).

Also, you can set up your phone number and can text your status to FBOOK too
