a better place
I have used metal and tinfoil. They are just web wrappers. The biggest issue is that they dont integrate into other apps for sharing / posting data directly to facebook with them.

Likewise even with facebook & messenger installed, i see very little difference on my 6P battery wise with them there instead of metal and vice versa. Overall memory usage at least on the 6P remains little different, afterall chrome on android is a memory hog in its own right so a webwrapper on the bsckbone of chromes webkit isnt necesserlily the perfect solution either.

U can use metal official fb app drains battery really bad

Metal is pretty cool actually. It's smoother and faster than the FB app.

Too bad I can't seem to uninstall FB (or Messenger) from my S6. I guess it's built into TouchWiz? I'll have to use Package Disabler.

So far, though, I see/feel no discernible difference in overall performance with the FB app disabled.

Hm...
