Facebook chat through Jabber (Messages, iChat)?

I've used Facebook chat through iChat/Messages for a long time. A few months ago, it stopped populating names in the buddy list and instead showed Facebook user ID numbers.

And now for about a week, it won't log into Facebook chat at all.

There had been some threads about this in the Facebook community forum, but they seem to have all been shut down and some even erased.

I was wondering if anyone else uses this and if it's working for anyone else?

I downloaded Adium and it won't connect either.

I figure it out for Messages.

I unchecked use SSL under server settings, and it works now.

It had always worked previously with the default settings, so I guess FaceBook changed something on its end.
