Having a small issue with Facebook contacts. I have the Facebook app set to sync contact photos.

When I go to contacts, the photos typically all show up after first syncing. However, after awhile, some continue to show, some disappear. Some may be there for awhile and then disappear and then reappear.

Am I doing something wrong?

how do u get the photos from ur Facebook friends to sync up with ur contacts!

Go to the Facebook app. Click "friends". Click on the arrow in the top right of the screen. Click "sync contacts".

Still don't know why the photos appear inconsistently. Maybe you will have better luck than me.

Will doing this ONLY sync those contacts I have on my phone with Facebook? Or will it import and sync ALL my facebook friends? I have a lot of people on FB that I don't want on my phone.

It syncs the profile pictures for only those in your contacts.

OP, it sounds obvious, but have you tried going into the facebook app, clicking remove data before trying again. Other than that, I'm at a loss.

Try an app called SmartSync, Way better than FB's app as that only does small photos for contacts when they call, etc, SmartSync gives you full screen :) it can also add extra details from your contacts FB to the contact, such as company, etc if you choose.

Yup, this is a thoroughly awesome app. I am not normally one for downloading niche apps, but this does exactly what is says on the tin.
