its driving me insane. Facebook freezes mid scroll. Have to force close and reopen. Then it just happens again.

Iphone 7+ 256gb
iOS 10.3.1
Facebook 92.0 doing it more frequently than it was on 91.0

The phone is working fine otherwise only other thing that freezes is music sometimes when I'm playing something pause and come back to it later I have force close and start it again.

Anyone else?

Facebook apps are probably one of the worst apps every built. They have been buggy for years now. Definitely a Facebook issue and not your device.
That and it is STILL the biggest battery killer among my apps except for games -though you can expect games especially more graphic intensive ones to kill your battery. FB goes above and beyond however.

I second that. The moment I installed the Facebook app my battery just went to sh*t. Even their own Facebook Pages Manager app doesn't suck that much battery!

Also with regard to OP's issue, I don't face any freezing mid-scroll, but the app is definitely janky.

Facebook app always has been a horrible app. They almost update the app daily but it remains buggy as h*ll.
You could better download a third party Facebook app like Friendly (it's more like a shelf around the website, you can do also a classic sort of posts, UI wise I'm not a fan though) or instead check it via Safari or another browser.
