Why not demand that websites they want to use stop using stupid flash.

Flash sucks. The iPad does not suck.

Have people stop using stuff that sucks and everyone will be happy.

Put the onus for this where it belongs, on the web developers.

Flash is not some kind of web standard, never has been and never will be.

I mean it didn't work for Conan O'Brien but who knows.

No Facebook group is going to convince Steve Jobs to do anything. When Jobs feels that Flash needs to be included then he will make sure it is in there. That is what happens when you have a CEO that wields so much power in a company. No one at Apple is going to argue with Jobs on the issue. Also there seems to be a Facebook group for everything and they hardly ever work.

Adobe must relishing the fact that some (hopefully) uninformed Flash users, against their own interests, are making the argument for supporting Flash. This is particularly perplexing when superior open standards now exist that can be used on all platforms.

Instead, they should be demanding that Adobe make Flash open source and that all content providers use open source standards that can be optimized on all products and all browsers.

Then you should complain to Adobe for not making Flash open source. If Flash was open source then you really would be able to get the possible internet experience on whatever device you chose using whatever browser you chose.

Adobe® Flash® Professional CS5 will include a Packager for iPhone that will let you publish ActionScript 3 projects to run as native applications for iPhone. These applications can be delivered to iPhone users through the Apple App Store.

Yeah it is horrible.

The ability of people who make crappy flash programs to convert then to the iphone is not good.

A Facebook group? All the other pathetic kids use Twitter petitions. Maybe you could do both.

I don't want the iPad to get Flash, I want content publishers to stop using Flash. I at least hope the Apple rejection of it is the first step to its death.

Why not start a chain email petition

I am sure you can get Adobe to donate $1 to the Bill Gates Foundation for every email that gets forwarded
