Facebook - Mail Doesn't Stay Read

I'm using the latest iPhone OS and Facebook app. Anyone else have this issue? If I check my Facebook mail with the Facebook app, it can read the mail, but when I exit the app and sign back in, the mail appears as unread again, and adds back the little red email notification on the app icon.

If I read the Facebook mail from my computer, it remains read.

Any ideas?

Happens to me all the time! In fact, this has been happening since way before the 3.0 OS update. A new facebook update is coming out soon and it will most likely fix the problem .

Same here once in a while. If you go online withe the computer tho and mark as read, the app will follow.

I've noticed several other goofy bugs but just waiting for thenupdate as well.

Ive noticed another massive bug in the messaging part of the app. My ex partner's mum used to talk to me via the message feature on Facebook and, for some reason, when we broke up she blocked me (despite the fact me and my ex are still friends). Anyway, on the normal site you'd be unable to correspond with a person that has you blocked. At all. I noticed that on the iPhone app, the 'reply' button would still show up under her messages in my inbox despite the fact that shouldn't be the case and, out of curiosity, I sent her a message...and it worked.

Seems like a MASSIVE flaw with the app, totally violates what the block feature is actually for.
