Am always logged on face book but was kicked out yesterday. Tried to log on again which took me to another log on page, when I entered name/password just took me back to this page. Stuck in a loop. Tried another username and can't log on to that either. No one else uses my computer. Tried intego, macscan and deleting the facebook plug ins, reset safari. I don't know what else to try to get rid of this problem. Logged on easily to my daughters lap top, so it is definitely my computer and only on facebook. Any suggestions? Thanks

Interesting. Make sure your address bar says "http://www.facebook.com/" and nothing else.
Log on using your daughters computer and change your password just to be safe.

Have tried using another computer and have no problems. My daughter can also use her logon and password on my mac and can't log on - but can on hers.

I had the same problem yesterday, but at least I got a message above the login form that this was due to system maintenance and that my account would be available again in a few hours. It took more than a few (about 12-14), but now everything is fine again

He said he's done a complete reset of Safari.
Try using a different browser. Sometimes Safari can truly be a pain in the behind.
