Facebook Messages Upload to Messages App no longer working

I'm sure a lot of people have figured out the hack to upload your facebook message to the Mac Messages app (here's a link: http://computers.tutsplus.com/tutor...facebook-chat-with-messages-on-mac--mac-49038). I followed those instructions and uploaded my facebook to my mac messages app over a year ago and it's been working great but lately it stopped working. When I open the Messages app, the "Bonjour" account logs in no problem, but the facebook account insists that I'm using the wrong password (I've retyped it in numerous times, logged in and out of my facebook account to make sure the password is good) but nothing seems to work. Apple also doesn't have a clue what's going on and claims its something on Facebook's end but I know many other people using this feature without any issues. If anyone has any ideas as to what's causing the problem I'd really appreciate your help!

Appreciate the response but that does not address my question. I know of other people who still have it active so I do not think Facebook has shut it down (or atleast not for everyone).
