iPhone Facebook Messenger icon

I had a new update and when I downloaded it, my Facebook Messenger icon randomly changed. I thought maybe they just changed the icon, but it's the same on the app store, iTunes, etc. I disabled my theme, turned it back on, tried to respring.. same icon. Any ideas what's going on?

Facebook updated Messenger. The update changed the icon to a new look. I have the same icon after the same update.

Anybody have the old icon? Have to say, not a fan of the new one.

I don't and I have no idea how easy it would be to replace. I'll just say that if you don't care for the new look of the icon, then you are probably not going to be a big fan of the new newsfeed change which FB will start rolling out tomorrow.

Facebook updated Messenger. The update changed the icon to a new look. I have the same icon after the same update.

That's what made sense to me, I just thought it was weird that it looks like the old icon in iTunes and the App Store still. Weird.. it's definitely uglier than before. lol. Yuck.

Its actually there dev icon. They forgot to switch it back to production when they pushed the new build to the App Store.
