Facebook Messenger not working on Iphone 7?

Hey all,

Has anyone ever got this message when they try to send a message on the facebook marketplace??

"Message Not Sent: Application does not have permission for this action"

I have found a few things that I need off of it, and cant send any messages or anything

Hm, perhaps Restrictions is turned on for the Messenger app? Tough to say what's causing the problem

Everything else is working fine with messenger, just not the marketplace for some reason. I am out of the country, but have used it perfectly since ive been gone (sent someone money to have it picked up) and wanted to do the same the other day but it gives me an error now...could it be because im out of the country? Even tried a VPN
