Facebook notifications are inconsistent

I like the idea of Facebook notifications in 10.8.2, however when Ig et a notification and I click "show" it sometimes takes me to Facebook and shows me the content that generated that notification, and other times it does nothing and just closes the notification. Does anybody know why this feature does not work consistently?

for me I only get notifications from mail still. I get nothing from Facebook...

Same for me, sometimes it comes up, sometimes it doesn't - really getting fed up with these dodgy updates.

I have the same issue.. And notification from Groups don't show up.

I get NO notifications from Facebook.. No new messages, no post comments, nothing. IOS6 notifications also aren't working right now. I can't tell if it's Apple or Facebook issue..

Since yesterday I have no more notifications for new PM on FaceBook.
