iPhone Facebook sound on ads

So Facebook now has ads that start playing sound(no video) when you scroll past them. Does anyone know how to turn that off? Google searches don’t have the answer, just old info on different sound options, nothing new/relevant that I could find

Uninstall the Facebook app.

Doing so removed the audio and gave me back hours of free time back and lengthened the battery life of my iPhone.

100% agree with you on this. There’s still a few groups that I like to follow though

Unless those groups impact your revenue stream, livelihood and income then just look at them on a browser.

Seeing them on a weekly basis is not a life or death situation.
