I just looked at my phone, and a new facebook update came up.

"This updates brings the features you've been asking for: you can now write on your friends' walls, view their photo albums, and see their full profiles. Photo browsing is more fun now with the edition of photo tags - just hold your finger down on a photo to make them appear. Photo uploading is also much faster, and you can finally upload pictures from your library that you've previously taken. Dozens of bug fixes have also been fixed, improving stability greatly."

Finally....

Just saw this post and went straight to my phone to check for the update.

I can't believe they left wall writing out of the first version! The other new features are nice too.

Really? I don't see it.

Edit: Oh wait. I don't have the Facebook app installed at the moment (just did a restore). My mistake.

Yea you gotta fool around with the app store updater - it sometimes recognizes updates, other times it doesn't. Just exit and enter it or at worst restart it.

But yes, thank god for wall posting.

Hmm, still nothing. I've looking in iTunes and my AppStore on my iPhone never finds updates, at least it hasn't yet. I've always had to do them via iTunes.

A much needed update; however, I'm still a huge fan of the web-app.

I do find myself for the first time ever using their chat feature. Too bad, I have a hard time getting non-iphone users to chat with it. Any particular reason you like the web-app better?

the app store on my phone said everything was up to date, i have about 20 apps installed. I even refreshed the app store several times and it wouldn't show any updates.

finally went on itunes and clicked the check updates and like 10 apps had updates waiting to be downloaded.

just finished re-syncing can't wait to see what it looks like now.

I really enjoy the interface on the web-app; it's probably the best web-app I've ever seen.

Also, I tend to check all my web related content (e.g. blogs, forums, news) at once, and for that reason alone, it's a plus to have Facebook launch in Safari as opposed to a standalone application.

#1 Update so far for the App store? lol

They just probably wanted to get it out for App launch day.

We all knew these updates would come.

Yeah, they had to have rushed it out for opening day of the App Store because there is no way you can have a Facebook app without the wall feature or view photo albums! Isn't that what the site is? Lol

no error for me. try reinstalling?

is there a way to NOT make the phone vibrate whenever someone sends you a message on facebook chat? Drains the battery life and is just annoying, lol
