Does anyone know when the new facebook update will be out? I thought it was going to be ready a the end of june.... And now it's august..
 
The developer said it would be done "very soon" and it is "98% done." This was on July 1. He said he'd post back when he submits it to Apple. He has yet to do so.

Here's his Twitter page. "The app is pretty much done - we're just working on translating it into a bunch of languages." - August 7.

Plus.. Given that its an iPhone application. You perhaps won't be surprised to learn that there is already a 7 page thread about it in the iPhone apps forum.

I got banned yesterday for being upset about this same issue with another thread.

It should go in App Store to begin with.

Mod, please rename and move to the correct area. Thanks!
 
Just follow Joehewitt on twitter, he posts all the updates there and develops the app. He said he was 98% done more than a month ago but then started to add more and more features such as stability and appearance. He's done with the app he's just adding different languages. Then once he submits it to the App Store, Apple will give it a "VIP pass" and give it special preference and probably approve it immediately and you'll get it within a week.
