Hi,
I have three daughters. The eldest ones are twins, but not identical. They resemble each other to some extent, like two normal sisters, not like twins. The younger one is... well... younger.
Both twins are able to unlock their younger sister's iPhone Xs with their faces each and every time, without failure!!!
It's on the latest iOS version, 15.5.
How come?
Could it have something to do with the "improved" FaceId that purports to work with a mask on? But I thought that was supposed to work with the iPhone 12 or higher, while hers is an Xs. Consequently, the "use FaceId with a mask" option, or whatever it's called, doesn't exist in her Settings app.
Just to be clear, the girls aren't wearing masks. FaceId was configured with its owner's complete face, and the other two sisters, both of them, can unlock it with their full, uncovered faces. None of them wears glasses. And I repeat - it's not a one-off event. They actually can do it each and every time, as if it were their own phone.
Is there a setting that I'm missing, which could affect this?
Thank you.
