Hello everybody!

I've recently noticed that whenever I open the MacRumors forum page, FaceID activates without doing anything. It doesn't happen while I'm logging in, in fact, I never logged in with my phone. What is the cause for this?

I just tried that on my iPhone X and that didn't occur - odd issue to be sure.

Did you try:
  • Clearing Safari's cache
  • logging out and back into MacRumors
  • Rebooting your phone
  • Try a different browser

Ok, maybe I figured out what the issue was. When I open the Forums section it "preloads" the password for the log in, so when i click on log in it's already there. I tried to cover the camera when opening the forum section, then clicked on log in, and the password field was empty.

I think it's connected to the keychain but MacRumors is the only site I use where it checks one step before the log in
