Some how the Facetime app got erased from my iphone5. How can I reload it on my iphone? I have gone to itunes and the ap store but I can not find it. I have asked iTunes and a very nice tech person ( I would say her name but I would not want to embarass her.) Could not figure out how to get it back on the iphone. I can receive facetime sessions, but I can not initiate one. Any suggestions?

Try searching using spotlight for FaceTime. If it doesn't show up, I've heard that sometimes if you switch your SIM card, FaceTime disappears. Did you do that maybe?

There is no FaceTime app icon on iPhones running iOS 6. FaceTime calls can either be initiated from inside a contacts card, or during a call pressing the FaceTime button to switch.

The FaceTime icon appears on iPods and iPads in place of the Phone icon.

In iOS7 Apple has added a FaceTime icon.
