I'm seeing an issue with Facetime Audio calls on EE cellular connections on iOS 9.0.2.
After some arbitrary time (usually 1->3 minutes) I hear a digital 'chirp' noise and the call immediately drops sound (stays connected, but caller and I cannot hear each other).
This only happens on EE 4G / 3G, it is not a function of signal as I have healthy db of signal.
I have worked as an iOS developer and UTRAN networks engineer for a few years, so I'm pretty comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and after an enomous amount of testing I can replicate this issue with multipe devices on the EE network.
Was wondering if many others are seeing this issue, and if it's a result of iOS protocol change or something more fundamental with how FT traffic is being handled by EE.
Tried customer service, nice people but this kind of issue is over their heads. "Reset network settings", yes mate, that doesn't fix it.
