Hi everyone.

Recently I have discovered strange thing with Facetime HD Camera on my Macbook Pro 13 Retina (Early 2015). The problem occurs only in Skype. During video call both audio and video freezes for a moment. I can't hear the person on the other side. Then after a moment the green light indicator turns off for a second and then turns on again. Video and audio turn back to normal and then the problem repeats after a short while. I think this is not the internet connection issue because in other app that use Webcam, this problem does not occur. It seems that this is the only Skype matter... Skype is up to date. I've found the similar problem on apple.com https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5059495?tstart=0 but it seems that OP did not found the proper solution... Please help me :(

Since it is a problem with Skype, check the Skype support forums. A google search show numerous hits including this one from a couple of weeks ago.

Hi,

thanks for reporting the issue. We are aware of this bug and are currently working on a fix that we will release as soon as we can.
I'll update here once the fix is released and in the meantime it would be good idea to check "Always keep Skype up to date" under preferences, so you would get the fixed version as soon as it's available.

Best regards,
Rene
