Hi all,

Hoping someone out there can save me!

I have recently changed internet fibre provider (to Hyperoptic), speed is super fast (around 500mbps on wifi) so no issues there. But the issue I'm having is with my Ipad not always ringing when someone facetimes me. I have an iphone and an ipad connected to the same wifi network, but sometimes when someone facetimes me only my phone rings and my ipad doesn't ring. But then other times my ipad will ring.

I didn't have this issue when using my old provider/router, but my new provider can't seem to find any issues. From my research is seems like its something to do with push notifications not waking up the ipad to ring, and the reason maybe my phone rings is because its the cellular part thats making it ring.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

You don't have the ringer volume turned down, right?

Yes, works fine on my old wifi network. It's something to do with the new router not pushing the ipad to 'wake up'... thats my kind of half guessing though.

If you can still test with the old wifi and that still works then the issue should be the new router , I agree.
