My FaceTime app opens and when I try to make a FaceTime call using the Mac it quits immediately. My iPhone and iPad work fine using the same number and network. This is extremely annoying as I use this for work and am constantly making FaceTime calls. I saw that someone posted on the apple forums that they're having the same issues but there is no fix apparently. I'm using a new 16" MBP with the pro chip.

Same problem here. MacOS 12.1

Also when making a regular phone call using Facetime on the Mac (via my iPhone), the little window at the top right )with the keypad, audio level display and hang up button) disappears - making it impossible to use touch tone or even hang up the call.

same problem with iMac 5K 2021.
test with 12.0.1 and 12.1 beta.
no solution apple care
