This problem has been driving me crazy since I got my new MBP. When I make a FaceTime call, everything works fine for the first 15 min. or so. At that point, they always tell me my image has gone "black" or disappeared. They can still hear me, but can no longer see me. Meanwhile, I can see and hear them just fine. I'm running High Sierra (10.3.6) on a 2018 13" MBP. I've run all the updates, etc. This is on college campus wi-fi that seems to be fast for everything else.

Things I've ruled out:

- It's not my laptop, as I had it replaced for an unrelated issue and it's still happening.
- FaceTime works fine over the same internet connection when I use my iPhone or iPad Pro.

Any ideas?
