I just finished a 22-minute FaceTime video chat. Both me and the other person were on wifi. It says I used 627.2 MB. We're both on wifi so it doesn't matter but why so much data? I thought FaceTime was data efficient, compared to other video chat apps. Any idea?

Well for me, I used facetime for an hour and 2 minutes, and it only used 42MB of data. So it depends on your usage, I also think it based on your cellular signal, so 4G would use a lot more data than 3G because its outputting more quality when video calling.
