Hello, I recently purchase an M1 MBA and did a FaceTime video call (my first) with a friend (who was on a mac laptop). On their side, they saw my video flicker and in green color (attached screenshot). Then I called the same friend from a different Mac laptop (MBP 15" 2019) and we did not have this issue.

However, when I called my parents (on their iPhone) for a FaceTime video (from my M1 MBA), I was not able to reproduce this issue.

Have any of you observed this? Is this an issue with my M1 laptop? When I turn on the FaceTime camera on my end and look at my video, it looks fine to me.

Please suggest if you have any ideas. Thanks!

I haven't done a FaceTime video call with the same friend, but have done with many others and so far this issue did not happen again.
