My sister has Android. I sent her a FaceTime link. She can join. She can see and hear me, but I can't see or hear her. We changed the permissions on her phone to allow camera and mic, but nothing still. Ideas?

I did the same thing with my sister. It only worked when I downloaded opera bowser on my lg velvet. Also make sure you have the latest iPhone operating system installed. Now if I can just figure out why from my Mac to my android does not work that would be awesome. Maybe on Mac android does not work yet.

By logging out and into another Apple ID video and call are no longer greyed out. Not sure why the other id won't allow calls or video.

Actually just realized it works but only if my email is added. So I am basically calling my self. It does not call my phone number. Maybe its tied to the same email but how do they know that?

I kinda figured it out. You need to click create link. Then send the link in messages to my android cell number. That does not work. I get no text. So I email my self the link. Then open the link in the email. The type in my name and then say join. Then on my Mac it says Someone requested to join. You click on that notification on your Mac. And then you say join. But then it says waiting to be let in... And keeps spinning. Never lets me in.

Finally works. After it says waiting to be let in. Then on my Mac I have to click the green check mark and accept the join request. Now it works.
