Not sure if this is allowed in the forum. But i saw many threads with websites, etc.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this.
I got my 4s IMEI unlocked 2 days ago. It is painless and very inexpensive. (cost the same as an ultra s)!! attiphonesunlocked@gmail.com
Now, i will simply wait for IOS6. :p

**forgot to mention it's an AT&T iphone

More and more advertorials are poping up on unlocking, most are not traceable or trackable on results, very few are legit.

Can you please post more detailed about the process? Please include:

1)The price
2)The time it took after you paid to be unlocked.
3)The site/service process to make the order
4)Any customer service info

Why not just go through AT&T? Or am I missing something?

AT&T will usually only unlock the iPhones that are at least two years old(initial launch iPhone 4's and older), at least for those who aren't customers, and it can take many hours of calling to reach a rep who will do it for you. It doesn't hurt to call AT&T and ask or have a friend with an AT&T account do it for you if your first few calls are turned away by the reps.

1)50 USD
2)less than 24 hours
3)It only accepts paypal. Please check with them about the site.
4)They only unlock AT&T

My iphone is still on contract. I am so happy, next month i can use my phone @the Olympics in London.

Only AT&T iPhones for most unlock services. Other services can do European carriers and Australia for a fraction of the price. The money back guarantee is through your credit card company.

duh i know only AT&T iphones and by asking that i meant every generation of AT&T iPhones can be unlocked? how can i pay the money whom to contact and all!

With respect to sim interposer solutions, I agree.
We shall see how they do with IMEI unlocking.
And their price is at the top end of the current price range.

I'm thinking they want to take advantage of hard core Appleberry customers and get the premium or try it. After a while I'm thinking they will lower it to be more competitive but I bet they stay on the higher side. I think they have earned the right to be a little higher though.

So basically these "grey market dealers" have access to someone who can get imei numbers into Apple's whitelist?

Where do the risks of blacklisting come into play when you are the original buyer of the phone?

Blacklisting a phone would only occur if you had a lost/stolen phone or you defaulted on your contract with the provider.
