Hi, I’m selling my MacBook Pro which was on Catalina. I want to erase and reset to factory setting for the new user but when pressing option and R on reboot I keep getting this image - and not the disk utility option.
Please kindly help..

Enter the password for that account, or click the "Forgot all passwords?" text, which will completely erase the computer.

Actually, think this is any Mac on Catalina now. Believe I saw that the other day when I went into recovery on my 2017 MacBook Pro. No T1/2 chip in it.

ADD: confirmed! Just went into Recovery and got the screen.

Thought it might be related to the new file structure (Mac HD, Mac HD - Data), but Recovery is not an encrypted "volume", even under APFS and or new structure. Guess trying to stop some of the old tricks out there re: resetting the initial setup status, changing the root password via Terminal in Recovery, etc.
