Going to try out El Capitan than factory reset my Mac as most things are saved in the cloud, just clean some stuff up.

Want to see how the true difference that El Capitan is vs Yosemite in terms of responsiveness. My MBA 2013 was great during Mavericks but Yosemite is frustrating as hell.

The factory reset process was the same from Mavericks to Yosemite. Assume nothing has changed?

What's a "factory reset"? Don't you just want to erase your hard drive and install El Capitan from scratch?
