Was it factory unlocked or was it a Rogers locked phone with a no-commitment price?
If it was factory unlocked apple can exchange it, if it was a rogers locked phone bought at the no-commitment price, you'll have to go through rogers to unlock it again.
Apple usually don't repair, but replace with refurb, they probably gave you a locked model, unlocked IP4's are usually not in stock, give apple a call on their service numbers.
Their service is usually pretty good, if you have proof of purchase they will exchange it for an unlocked phone.
Thanks. I have e-mail confirmation about purchase and repair but the question is I'm not in Canada right now and I have called Apple service in my current country but they said they have nothing to do about it I have to go back to Canada to get a answer.
I bought an iphone 4 full amount from apple store online Canada. It's unlocked. After Apple repair it's locked now. What can I do? I'm not in Canada right now. I have checked my imei it said sim locked on Rogers.
Like someone mentioned here, most likely they swapped your phone out, gave you a refurbished one and forgot about your phone being unlocked
That was my first thought (Apple is not known for "fixing" phones, they just exchange them) Sort of surprised you would not of realized this when the phone "came back locked" as you stated.
When Apple swaps out an unlocked phone, they have not been known to unlock the replacement. This issue has been reported many times.
