See you say that, but your actions speak louder then words. Do you have an iPhone or phone made in a similar fashion?
Yes, but would I get another one if I knew people were getting sick from making it? No. I found out about it yesterday, so.....yes... I have avoided buying iPhones, Nokia mobiles, and Garmin products over the last 2 days.
Did this new information affect my mobile phone choice from 18 months ago? Uh....no. Use your head.
And yes, I'm aware that there may be more mobile phones made in a factory where people are getting sick from n-hexane, but they specifically pointed out Apple, Nokia, and Garmin, and the workers specifically pointed out the iPhone screen (probably because it's the highest volume product, so they handle it more, so they know what it is).
As for not taking a 30% discount on a product you plan on buying anyway, thats just ignorant, theres nothing impressive about that.
I used the discount to get my MBP, but I still haven't bothered with the iPad, iPad 2, 11" or 13" MBA, ACD, or other things. I don't
need to get the latest Apple product, so not getting an iPhone or iPad (if that's affected), whatever, would be pretty easy to do.
What iphone3gs16gb said made it sound as if he actually thought I, and others, couldn't possibly avoid getting new iPhones in the future. Well, sorry to break the news to iphone3gs16gb, a guy who probably isn't strong enough to resist getting new "i-toys", but it's easy to not get an iPhone. Just don't get one.
