So I got a magazine from AT&T the other day. They claim to be the better network and one of their selling points is their data+voice. Now, in this picture, I can see the lady talking on her bluetooth headset using what appears to be a blackberry 83xx. This blackberry doesnt have voice+data capabilities.

To the right is an android device which is not the same device she is holding in her hand.

Really? How about some common sense? Think, AT&T is the only other network (besides T-Mobile) that can do Data + Voice, regardless if the device supports it or not.

Sprint can do it if you are using the Wimax.
Verizon 4G phones can do Voice and data at the same time regardless if you are on the LTE network. They have the updates software and chips that support it. Verizon also has allows it on their network provided the phone can do it.

Well, since most phones are still 3G, and the most popular smart phone is 3G... AT&T's advertising is still a valid representation fo what Veirzon can't do.

It is valid only because their network can do it.
Does not change the fact that all the other networks can and do it as well. Noticed that they have dropped the attack on Verizon and Sprint about the no data and voice at the same time. What they are doing now is trying to keep it going in people's mind.

Well, considering they are still touting the iPhone as the only having voice + data on their network, I don't see how less valid the argument is.

Last I checked, Sprint and Verizon, still don't offer this ability.
