Hello everyone
It's my first time to own an iPhone (4S). I had heard a lot about jailbreaking iPhone, advantages & disadvantages, so I decided to jailbreak my iPhone to get those advantages. One of the disadvantages of jailbreaking that I read was that you cannot update your iOS, I thought I wouldn't care much for a newer iOS version, but when Apple has released the newest version which is iOS 9 with it's awesome new features, I wanted to try it out because the new features attracted me, so I decided to Erase all data & content on my iPhone from settings > general > reset. My iPhone shut down, and It was capable of only showing the Apple logo on the screen, a problem that I'm struggling to fix until this moment. I read about putting my iPhone in recovery mode, then connecting it with iTunes whereby I would be able to restore the phone to it's factory settings, unfortunately the iTunes required updating the iOS version to the latest one, I attempted to update it (in order to restore the phone after fulfilling iTunes requirement), but I got an error that's not regarding my internet connection, It's "Time out" error, something like that. I went by the store I purchased my iPhone from, they told me there that the Jailbreak is holding the iOS settings and version, so I cannot update the phone until It's un-jailbroken. Now I'm too confused and I am not able to find any proper way to fix my iPhone. Is it going to sort it all out if I attempt to re-install the current iOS version that I jailbreaked (iOS 8.4)? Please help me, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks for the time you've spent reading this. I appreciate any support!
