Just looking for some opinions. Here is the config.

20" imac G5. rev. B (ambient light sensor)
2.0 GHz
2 GB RAM
250 GB HD
Wireless keyboard and mouse
Applecare until Sep. 2008
Perfect condition

Not sure what I could get for this thing, if anything. Any ideas?

TIA

Based on recent completed listings in Ebay, that should go for $1200-1300+ there. I was a bit surprised to see them selling at that price considering how the price on Powerbooks has fallen, but I guess it makes sense that the G5 would command more respect than a G4.

You should post in Marketplace under Feeler heading, but I'd say probably $1100-1300, based on the current CL and eBay sales...especially given the new update.

@amin
You have to remember that the new updates just came out today; the new going rates on ebay will reflect this in the coming days/weeks

Sales of exact machine:
$1,076

$1,135

$1,000

Your AppleCare could probably boost the price a little tad...

I took that into account, but the Apple Care, pristine condition, and 2GB RAM is a better combo than any of the completed sales you referenced. Perhaps I did estimate a bit on the high side. I think he'd likely get more on Ebay than here though.

eBay is definitely the route to go. people here will want the latest and greatest and will be very "in the know" about apple computers.. not the same on eBay. i just recently sold my 2.0 white macbook with 1.25gb ram and a wired MM for 1450 shipped - crazy amounts more than I could have hoped for selling it here!
