Im pissed. Apples latest firmware is supposed to let you know if accessories are fake.

I bought some AirPods Max and got taken advantage of. The headphones registered like real ones, There in the FindMY app. Even shows on Apple support page that list all my products.

After seeing all these things I figured they were legit.

I was wrong!!!!!!!!

Is there anything I can do with App

Just curious, but how do you know they are fake? I've never seen fake AirPods actually show up like the real thing or have the same functionality.

They only sync to one device. So if I move from iPhone to iPad I have to resync. The buttons and knob doesn't do anything. Just makes a sound like its changing modes

Maybe they are just defective. I guess they could be a copy with how things are going. If you can take them to the Apple Store. Maybe they can do some extra check to see if they are good?

They can be fake. I have come across Airpods pro 2 which are very well made fakes.
Airpods max weighs about 385grams. Can you check yours?
