Not sure, But I think i got scammed on a pair of beats Solo 3 via Craigslist. they came brand new still in wrap. Everything well packaged and looks legit(compared to unboxing videos) I think they might be fake because I can't get the m1 chip to work. Tried pairing with my iphone and ipad both on IOS 10. I can connect by holding down the power button for 5 seconds and then connected through the settings app. The only reason I think they might be real is because when I go to the apple care web site and enter the serial, it does recognize that its a pair of beat solo 3's.. but it does tell me confirm the date of purchase.
Also, I've tried resetting them by holding the power button and the down volume button but it doesn't seem to work.
Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? -Thanks

Does the connect window come up with the picture of the beats on them? If it does it has a w1 chip.
