Recently some craziness went on in my life, and I need to know if there's anyway to fake an iMessage? I have seen a few different apps/websites that let you do so but have yet to find one that has Read Receipts like an actual iphone would have. The backstory is long and complicated, so i just need to know if there's any way a person could fake those. Also call logs.

Anything's possible, depending on the power and resources you have. for a common person - no, because you'd have to hack Apple's imessaging servers. For some rogue Apple employee or people working at rogue outfits like NSA, etc... probably yes.
Apple physically destroys their own keys, don't they? That means it's near impossible to even get into the servers and modify something.
With the power of a government though, something similar can happen. Maybe not with Apple intefering, but something else.
We don't know that for a fact, do we. Secondly, no-one is stopping Apple from putting out a fake documentation saying oh yes we destroy keys... but have them available for govt. agencies... They could be transmitting a copy of the keys to someone else before destroying them. what are you gonna do? sue them? the govt. will grant them immunity on grounds on national security, blah blah.
Withotu a valid warrant governments cannot force Apple to hand over anything if Apple doesn't want to hand over anything. That said though, even if they could some of the data would still be impossible to retrieve (usually the ones the folks over at the surveillance places want), and would be largely useless. This is why most of the time the governments want Apple to build a backdoor or unlock an iPhone, instead of simply just handing over data, which they don't because of the amount of power the governments could have over user data.
you're talking in a legal ideal world. We know today that NSA tapped into fiber optic cables directly, bypassing need for any kind of warrants... that's how they work. The court proceedings are secret. Do you think some warrant requirement is gonna stop them if they really want some bits of data?...no. All they need to do is pressure some middle level manager and a system admin to work for them and that's it.
Have you tried photoshop? Or you could just send yourself messages delete the duplicates and make a conversation that way. When you're done just photoshop the time stamps.
create a burner email address and add it to imessage, continue whatever with the person but start it in a new message thread so it appears as a new first message from an unknown person. silence it whenever by deleting that email from imessage receive address.
If read receipts are the only thing missing from fakers you've already found, then know that you don't have to have read receipts, many people turn them off so you don't if they've read them or not. No read receipt is still perfectly real looking.
Apple has said that they don't share that information. If you don't believe that then you shouldn't buy any of their devices, use any of their software or services.
No you should buy all you want, because every manufacturer/service provider has to suck up to local laws, or else they're out. If anyone tells you they don't co-operate with the govt., they're simply lying. What we need to do is use our own encryption on top of that... if we send our own encrypted messages over say, imessage, it helps. Since even if the govt. can decrypt the imessage text, they'll still get garbage till they have our own private keys (or of course a very fast supercomputer)

well if there exists a gag order, Apple would not be able to say that they do share it... you see the problem?
Please try to describe you experience with fake iMessage more precisely. Few week ago I saw the app with capability to fake lockscreen notifications. Just with picture but it could be the way how to confuse some people. (App: Spy for Facebook messenger:.....)
Second possibility is the use callkit, rename and use app for simulating calling and messaging. Behavior is like native app but it could be whatsapp or another messenger.
Please consider one thing, everything is about the user. User saw the history of calls and some messages. What was the purpose of this act? You may just saw something what is unreal but some friends, girlfriend... tried to hide some facts. Try to face it with logic thinking.
