Fallout 3 windows 7 crash

Whenever I try to run fallout 3 my computer crashes and the game is forced to close. This happens at the same place every time, in the beginning when you have to speak to Amata at your 10th birthday party it crashes as soon as I begin the dialogue with Amata. I bought it on steam and I have a 13 inch macbook pro mid 2009 running 64 bit windows 7 in boot camp.

never mind this thread. A couple of hours later I tried reinstalling and it worked instantly.
