Families sharing an apple ID, what are you going to do now?

I really don't know.
If we keep sharing the iCloud account, then we lose Find My Friends.
If we move to using individual accounts, we lose a shared iCloud Drive and I'm worried about a shared iCloud Photo library when that becomes available.

My wife and I have always had our separate iCloud accounts, but would use my AppleID for purchases. We want our contacts, passwords, bookmarks, history, etc. to remain separate while only sharing purchases and (some) photos. The only difference with using Family Sharing for us will be that she no longer has to remember my password for purchases.
We share our apple id and have separate iclouds. This has worked great in the past. My biggest issue with the shared family option is app developers have a choice if it can be shared or not. I think Ill wait and see this through...
We used to do the same and I just switched us over to Family Share. My biggest gripe was our shared music library using iTunes Match. We have completely different musical tastes so I'd be shuffling my music and go from Deftones/Slayer to Whitney Houston. Lol. That was reason enough for me to separate us out. Sure we could've used playlists etc but I figured screw it. I like the idea of being able to approve our kid's purchases too. Sure we might have to rebut some IAPs but its a small price to pay. Works great so far imo.
In my couple days on iOS 8, I am noticing that more developers are moving toward the In-App purchase model. I think we'll see trend accelerate with the Family Sharing option. For example, I purchased 1Password a couple of months ago which I love. With iOS 8, the moved to a new model where you download the app for free with basic functionality, then pay for the pro features with an In-app purchase. I have access to the pro functions, but my family does not. They would each have to purchase the pro features.
