Family Apple Music but separate Apple ID

My husband already has his own Apple ID.... But I signed up for Apple Music family plan with my Apple ID. How do I set up his phone so he can access it too?

You have to be on the family sharing (for apps and stuff).

I figured it out.... I saw you can use their own Apple ID. That was not the most intuitive apple experience.
