I've completed my main account from Mobile Me to iCloud. I've seen all the tips, help docs, and everything else that say "you can move the other (sub) account holders later, individually." Fine. But how?

Is there someone out there that has done this? I mainly use the sub accounts as identifiers (kids iPod touch's, etc.) I'm thinking I need to log out of MY iCloud account first, but I'm concerned what is going to happen when I move the sub accounts over to the cloud from my computer…I don't want my data going there attached to every account.

Hopefully this is understandable, and someone can help.

Thanks.

Each subaccount has an email address and a password. You go to me.com/move and login for each of these to migrate them. All the subaccounts show as free iCould accounts and the main account shows up as a paid iCloud account. This is what happened when I did my family pack. But in my case I migrated all the subaccounts first, then the main account. I don't know if that makes any difference.

Figured it out…

Go to iCloud in Safari and log in with one of your Mobile Me sub-account holder's me.com identifier (email). That will take you through the "move" process. (It's a bit strange, but at one point you need to go to the Mobile Pref Pane and log in with the same sub account holder's ID and password.) Now that account holder's iCloud account can be accessed on the web, and none of MY data was transferred--the calendars, mail, etc. were empty on .me, and they're empty now. Success.
