So if you have family share, is there a way to NOT share Apple Music? My daughter is currently sharing it with her kids, and really wants to turn that feature off, but we cannot figure out how.

Should be easy...

Go to Settings > ID (the option right at the top) > Family Sharing.

Under 'Shared Features' should be Apple Music. Switch that off

I’ll try that - we went to a spot where it had shared, and when you clicked Apple Music it didn’t give you the option to turn it off, but maybe that’s not where we were.

Family sharing can be a bit confusing sometimes.

If you're paying for the Apple Music Family Plan you cannot turn off family sharing. Switch to a single plan and then it won't be shared.

As I recall, you have a somewhat complicated family setup.

Are there multiple adults in this particular family share and do you want to be able to share Apple Music with them (taking advantage of the family subscription) but not with the children? No can do if that's the case.

One adult, 3 kids on this family share. It’s not complicated really - just confuses the crap out of me. ;-p
