Family sharing help

Ok we go our kid set up with family sharing on our acct. I notice when I purchase a song it downloads on his phone but then I have to select "make available offline". Is there a quicker way to make this happen or do I or he need to do this for every thing downloaded.

Its Music setting this rule, not family sharing. Making the song available offline as you know is the ability to store the song on the device for listening while away from internet service or to save data when on cellular. You will, so far as I know, need to select this manually for each song. You could put all new songs in a playlist and select the playlist once maybe.
