I have been trying to use the new Family Sharing option in the Yosemite beta but kept getting an error when trying to confirm the iTunes account on the sub-account i was trying to add under the master account. I reported the issue via the feedback assistant but then stupidly decided to try removing the sub account Apple ID from the family and re-add it. I am now getting an error saying i have hit the limit to join a family with the Apple ID.

I am thinking this is probably because I have hit the limit for the number of times you can join a family in a year or something like that...

Wondering if anyone else has come across this same issue and if there is any way around it (e.g. to get the limit reset)? Or am i screwed and will likely have to wait until the official Yosemite release or even worse maybe until next year...

Contact the support team to reset the limit.

Is there a support team for the Yosemite public beta? How do you contact them directly?

Thanks

I don't think you can get support on the pubic beta. You can try Feedback Assistant but I think it is one way only on the beta. You do get 2 way support in the DP version and must have access to the AppleSeed site.

Has anyone on the beta received 2 way (Apple engineer) support through FA and have access to the AppleSeed site?

Yeah that was my assumption too hence why i was thinking i might be stuck now until the official release and i can contact support. I did add it to the Feedback Assistant but i'm not expecting a response...

Say after officially release day and Apple did not reset the clock, any idea who/how to contact Apple to have them reset the share limit?
