I have a Family Sharing account with 2 of my family members on it. I want to add a 3rd user, my brother, who has never used an iOS device, but had purchases I originally made with his iTunes account on his Mac running Mountain Lion.

He doesn't use any iOS devices, and his Mac hasn't been updated to Yosemite. Since the Family Sharing invite typically appears on the software device as a prompt, is there another way to accept it?

When I send him an invite to Family Sharing, is it possible for him to accept the invite via email? I understand that if he can accept the invite, he cannot get my Family Sharing content, but it's mainly so I can get my old purchases on his Apple ID back.

Thanks.
