My wife has been on my Family Sharing for quite sometime but thinking about adding my son too. He has an extensive music library consisting of music purchased from iTunes and Cd's he's imported but currently no Apple Music subscription. If I add him to my Family Sharing does he get to keep his own music library and playlists, or will it just show mine? Or possibly combine both of ours together?

How does Family Sharing handle Apple Music subscriptions?

Currently he's using my Apple ID to watch my Apple TV Plus on his devices and we've had a few login issues since he started doing that... constantly asking for verification. If he's on my Family Sharing will he just login with his own Apple ID when he wants to use Apple TV Plus?

Does Apple TV Plus let two family members stream at the same time when using Family Sharing?

You can safely add your son. I've my wife, daughter, sister, mum & dad on my Family Sharing. All have their own Apple ID and all have their own music and all can stream at the same time.

His own imported library will also be available for him to stream from any Apple device too. I would get him to keep a back up of all his own imported CD's as a precaution.

Thanks for replying I was worried he might lose his Playlists so should be safe to add him then.
