Fan constantly on high RPM on 2010 MBP 13" 2.4GHz

Since I upgraded to ML yesterday my fan is spinning almost constantly often at over 4,000 RPM when my MBP on Lion was totally silent. It's unusually warm here right now (28C/82F) , but the fan noise started with the upgrade.

Does anyone else experience this? My CPU temp is at 65C/150F almost all the time when the system is idle. Spotlight indexing is not running, and I don't have any other CPU-intensive programs running.

Nothing unusual, and no difference to before. Though I just caught SytemUIServer at about 15% and killed it. Now the fan is at its default value.

Killing SystemUIServer seems to have solved the problem for now. Fan speed and CPU temp are down to normal levels. I hope that it doesn't come back.

Same problem here. New 2012 Macbook air - never heard the fan before however it's constantly on since upgrading to mountain lion. Killing the above said process didn't help. Nothing seems to be using enough CPU to warrant the fans...

Did the latest update, and rebooted and the fans have returned to normal... for now

I and also having the same issue with my i7 13" Air Fans start spinning up to 5500 rpm while just browsing the Web

Could it be a program that you have installed on your MBP? I also have a mid-2010 13' MBP and Mountain Lion has been running very cool on my laptop (in the 40-50C range); whereas Lion was always in the 50-60C range or higher when doing something intensive.

I have the same problem. For me it's Crashplan that takes all the CPU (shown as Java in Activity Monitor). I'll try and let it work overnight in hopes that it'll stop.
