Hi i have 2012 mac mini i use it for long periods of time and i would like to keep it cool. so i am trying out smc fan control but could someone please explain how this works? and what default speed should i have set for the fan etc..if i set fan speed to 2200rpm does this mean it will stay there forever?

also i would like to know some healthy temps?
my mac mini usually runs around 44degrees to 67degees around 54 on average are these temperatures healthy as in will it damage my mac runnign at those temps

my peak temp is around 88degrees should i be worried

what is classed as a hot temp also what is classed as a maximum temp?

There's no need to monitor or alter the temperatures or fan speeds of any Mac. The systems were designed by people with degrees in their respected fields and know of the limits of the technology. It's best to leave it as is and let the system do it's job.
