Fan keeps coming on, MBP running warmer

I have a Time Machine backup from last week of Ventura. If I want to roll back from Sonoma to Ventura, how do I do that? Is that Migration Assistant?

Give it time. It's probably reindexing or doing some other things in the background.

It's been very normal temp today; now at 46 c; fan did come on after doing the first post-Sonoma install Time Machine backup. Is that normal? How long can reindexing take?
